This executive position offers full operational leadership over a multi-building, mission-critical campus environment. You will oversee total operational readiness, high-availability infrastructure resilience, large-scale engineering teams, and long-term expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall strategic and operational management across a multi-building critical data center campus.
Establish scalable operating models, governance, and organizational structures to support rapid growth.
Direct operations, preventive maintenance, and engineering reliability across critical electrical, mechanical, cooling, UPS, generator, BMS/EPMS, and fire protection systems.
Maintain continuous mission-critical uptime. Lead major emergency escalations, Root Cause Analysis, disaster recovery preparedness, and operational risk mitigation.
Represent operational interests during design, construction, commissioning, and handover phases for new facilities to ensure operational readiness prior to launch.
Serve as the senior interface for key hyperscale/enterprise clients, ensuring SLAs, contract compliance, audit readiness, and high-level service delivery.
Lead and coach multi-tiered facility teams and site managers. Drive full statutory EHS compliance, workforce development, and vendor performance management.
Manage annual operational budgets (OPEX), resource allocation, cost optimization, and multi-year headcount/expenditure forecasting.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical discipline.
Min 15 years of progressive technical leadership experience within mission-critical facilities (e.g., Hyperscale/Colocation Data Centers, Semiconductor, Telecom, or High-Availability Utilities).
Deep understanding of electrical/mechanical redundancy concepts, commissioning frameworks, incident management, and continuous improvement (KPI/SLA management).
Certifications: Professional Engineering, Certified Data Center Expert (CDCE/CDCP), or FM credentials are highly preferred.
