CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Risks & Controls professional to strengthen the first line of defense by applying the Enterprise Operations Risk Management framework across programs. The role involves challenging business units on risk understanding and controls, and driving data analytics to uncover opportunities for process optimization and cost efficiency.

You will work within Malaysia region, contributing to operational risk governance and continuous improvement in a dynamic financial services

Qualificações

• Experience in risk functions or controls within financial services.
• Ability to analyse data sources and derive actionable insights.
• Familiarity with risk frameworks like EORM is a plus.
• Strong communication to challenge and advise business units.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the Enterprise Operations Risk Management (EORM) framework for selected programs.
• Challenge the business on understanding risks and adequacy of controls.
• Review and assure effectiveness of operational risk practices across the business units.
• Consult on risk management design to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Perform root-cause analysis on operational risk events and propose action plans.
• Provide change management support for risk design/enhancement and best-fit models.
• Drive data analytics by retrieving data sources and applying statistical techniques to improve processes and reduce risk.
