Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia invites an experienced Risk & Controls professional to strengthen the 1LoD with enterprise-wide risk oversight. You will drive the EORM framework, challenge processes, and ensure robust control environments while collaborating across functions and geographies.

The role emphasizes data analytics, change risk identification, and stakeholder engagement to mitigate operational risks and improve control effectiveness within the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum level of study Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
• Relevant university degree preferably finance or business related.
• Risk qualification preferred but not essential

Responsibilities

• Execute the Enterprise Operations Risk Management (EORM) Framework for selected programs to determine an independent Operational Risk Profile.
• Challenge businesses on risk understanding and adequacy of controls, including proactive risk management.
• Review and assure that Operational Risk practices are effective, meeting enterprise requirements and applied consistently.
• Consult on the design of risk management practices to identify and mitigate operational risks.
• Perform root-cause deep dives on Operational Risk Events and validate action plans for mitigation and governance.
• Provide change management support for design/enhancement addressing risk issues and best-fit models.
• Drive data analytics by extracting data sources and applying statistical techniques to identify process optimisations and cost savings.
