Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Risk & Controls professional to manage IT incidents, coordinate cross-functional teams, and strengthen controls in the information systems environment. You will monitor incident recording, develop action plans, and contribute to risk mapping with IT and security colleagues.

The role requires a university IT degree, strong communication, and at least 6 years in financial/IT settings; multi-stakeholder coordination is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree in IT.
• Relevant risk and asset servicing experience preferred but not essential.
• Preferably minimum 6 years experience in the financial/IT industry.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to engage and manage stakeholders in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Operational Incident Management: ensure correct description of IT incidents.
• Lead the coordination unit between IT and operational staff with management.
• Confirm causes of incidents and monitor action plans.
• Participate in reviewing control plans with IT and security teams.
• Carry out level 2.1 controls and write control reports.
• Support risk mapping with IT and security teams; challenge mappings.
• Follow up errors and draw up risk indicator reports.
