Job summary

Couch Designs is seeking a branch sales manager to drive profitability and lead a high-performing retail team in Malaysia. You will plan and implement sales and operations strategies, set team goals, and ensure adherence to company SOPs.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, building customer rapport, and optimizing store displays to maximize performance. The role requires at least 5 years in retail, strong leadership and people-management skills, and fluency in English and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail industry
• Proven experience as area manager, store manager, assistant manager or similar managerial role
• Strong people management, motivation and decision-making skills.
• Independent, resourceful, performance-orientated, self-motivated, service-oriented and an ability to interact with all levels of people
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Diploma / Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• Fluent in English & Mandarin, both oral and written. We seek for Mandarin-speaking candidates who are required to serve Mandarin-speaking clients.

• Planning and implementing overall branch retail sales & operations strategy , setting team goals and directions in order to achieve sales performance
• Able to handle and manage branch's daily operations according to the company policy and SOP
• Manage sales performance of all branch staff to meet KPI set
• Involve in soliciting for retail business, maintaining good rapport with customers, prospects, staff and business partners
• Supervise, train and develop branch staff to improve their competency
• Build and foster strong teamwork and working relationship among all branch personnel
• Ensure branch setup and display is following the Retail Guide
• To attended to customer selling floor whenever required
• Establish sales goals, monitor sales performance, and implement strategies to improve sales
• Coach, mentor, and motivate sales associates to ensure high performance and productivity
• Develop and implement customer engagement strategies
• Analyze customer data to assess buying behaviors and trends
• Manage store operations, including administrative duties, staff scheduling, organizing promotional campaigns, and events
