Job summary

KK Super Mart, Jalan Sentul, is seeking a Shop Assistant (Full Time) to support daily retail operations and ensure top service. You will manage merchandise receiving, inspection, storage and returns, and assist with inventory control and presentation.

Role requires at least a diploma or degree advantage, 1–3 years retail experience, and flexibility for shifts, weekends and holidays. Own transport is preferred to support operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage.
• 1–3 years of relevant retail experience preferred.
• Experience in a supervisory or team-leading capacity is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily retail operations in accordance with company policies and standards.
• Manage the receiving, inspection, storage, and return of merchandise.
• Support inventory control and ensure accurate handling of stocks.
• Ensure merchandise is replenished, organized, and presented according to store requirements.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, housekeeping, and store presentation.
• Operate POS systems and store equipment responsibly and in compliance with established procedures.
• Protect and safeguard company assets, merchandise, equipment, and property.
• Deliver consistent and professional customer service.
• Identify and elevate operational issues, emergencies, and incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and customer-friendly store environment.
• Promote and uphold KK Super Mart’s corporate values, service standards, and brand image.
