Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) seeks a Shop Assistant for KK Super Mart Hulu Yam Bharu to manage goods, perform inventory tasks, and maintain store upkeep. The role requires leadership in a retail setting, strong customer service, and reliable teamwork.

Ideal candidate has SPM or diploma, with 1–3 years retail experience; a bachelor’s degree is a plus. Ownership of transport is preferred; willingness to work flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Previous retail experience (minimum 1–3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods and manage inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the store premises.
• Operate store equipment and machines per company procedures.
• Ensure the safety and proper care of store assets.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Handle emergency situations and report to relevant personnel when necessary.
• Uphold KK Supermart’s good image and reputation at all times.
