Job summary

KK SUPER MART Genting is seeking a Shop Assistant (Full Time) in Gohtong Jaya. You will handle stock, inventory, and merchandise, keep the store neat, operate POS systems, and assist customers with a courteous, professional approach.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. SPM/ Diploma with 1–3 years retail experience is preferred, with potential supervisory duties and ownership of transport.

Qualifications

• SPM or Diploma level qualification; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 1–3 years of retail experience, supervisory exposure preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer service mindset required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, arrange, inspect and return goods for stock control.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in the store premises.
• Operate store equipment and machines per company procedures.
• Ensure safety and care of store property and assets.
• Provide courteous and professional service to customers.
• Handle emergencies and report to relevant personnel; uphold brand image.
