Mizuno Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor to lead store operations and drive sales performance in Kuala Lumpur.
You will supervise staff, manage rosters, monitor inventory, and ensure a high standard of customer experience in line with Mizuno’s values. The Retail Store Supervisor / Assistant Supervisor serves as the person-in-charge of the store and is responsible for driving sales performance, managing store operations, supervising retail staff, and maintaining an excellent customer experience. This role works closely with management to ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, staff productivity, and compliance with company standards. Store Operations & Sales
Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient store performance.
Drive store sales and achieve monthly sales targets.
Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues promptly.
Prepare staff duty rosters and manage manpower planning.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
Oversee stock receiving, transfers, and stock-taking activities.
Monitor fast-moving and slow-moving products and recommend actions.
Maintain store cleanliness, visual merchandising, and product presentation standards.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and store operating standards.
Team Management & Development
Supervise, coach, and motivate retail staff to achieve performance goals.
Train and onboard new employees on store operations and customer service standards.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and overall performance.
Foster a positive and productive team environment.
Reporting & Administration
Review and submit daily sales and operational reports.
Report sales performance, inventory status, and store issues to management.
Support recruitment, administrative tasks, and store documentation when required.
Minimum 4-5 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory, store management, or team leadership role.
Proven experience in managing daily store operations and achieving sales targets.
Experience in staff scheduling, manpower planning, and team supervision.
Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
Good problem-solving, decision-making, and customer service abilities.
Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising.
Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
