Job summary

KK SUPER MART Jalan Ipoh (5) in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a Shop Assistant for a full-time position. You will be the front-facing contact, delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers find products, and maintaining a clean, well-organised store environment at the Jalan Ipoh location.

You will handle till operations, process payments securely, and work with the team to meet store targets while complying with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.
• Basic numeracy and familiarity with POS systems or till operations.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry items.
• Reliable with flexible schedules including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service at all times.
• Assist customers in locating products and provide information/recommendations.
• Operate the till accurately, processing payments and handling cash securely.
• Stock shelves neatly and maintain attractive product displays.
• Report low-stock items to management after shelf checks.
• Keep the store clean and maintain hygiene standards.
