Job summary

Merdeka Supermarket (Sabah) Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Assistant to greet customers, assist with promotions, restock shelves and maintain well-presented displays.

The role also covers cashiering and payment handling, and requires teamwork to ensure smooth store operations. Training will be provided and weekend/public holiday work is required. You will create a welcoming shopping environment, ensure accurate pricing, and help customers find products.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM and above.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, friendly and presentable.
• Weekend and public holiday availability.
• English / Chinese or Bahasa Malaysia (conversational)
