Job summary

PLC PET LOVERS CENTRE SDN. BHD. (RETAIL) is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Penang store to support daily operations and achieve sales targets.

You will handle cashiering, promote memberships, and assist with stock and housekeeping to ensure an inviting, pet-friendly shopping experience. We welcome hardworking, mature individuals with good communication and self-motivation. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; own transport is an advantage; weekend and public holiday shifts

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Perform cashiering and balance cash registers.
• Promote PLC membership sign-ups and renewals.
• Assist in replenishing out-of-stock items and stock counts.
• Maintain housekeeping for a clean, safe store environment.
• Other duties as assigned by store in charge/supervisor.

Job description

A customer service representative who supports the day-to-day business operations of the retail store in meeting sales target/KPIs in line with business objectives.

Perform cashiering functions in terms of product purchase by balancing cash registers.

Recommend and promote product or PLC membership sign-ups and renewals to meet customers' needs and objectives.

Support in replenishing out of stock items on the display and assist in any ad-hoc/periodic stock-take and/or stock count exercise.

Perform and maintain overall general housekeeping to ensure clean and safe environment for staff, customers and pets.

Any other daily operations duties as assigned by the store person in charge/supervisor.

Requirements

Individuals who are hardworking, matured and of pleasant personality are encouraged to apply. Good communication skills and self-motivated sales person are added advantages.

Possessing own transport is an added advantage.
