Retail Operations Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision & Coaching: Lead, schedule, and motivate the sales associates to deliver high-touch, premium service standards. Conduct daily briefings on targets, product knowledge, and new collections.
- Floor Operations & Standards: Oversee opening and closing procedures, maintain strict visual merchandising guidelines, and ensure flawless product presentation on the shop floor.
- Inventory & Stock Management: Manage stockroom organization, conduct cycle counts, process shipments, and maintain real-time inventory accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
- Customer Service & Recovery: Handle VIP client escalations, model exceptional selling behaviors, and execute service recovery with elegance and professionalism.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor fitting rooms, enforce cash-handling controls, and minimize stock shrinkage or damage.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Conversion Rate: Measures the percentage of store visitors who complete a purchase, reflecting floor staff effectiveness.
- Average Transaction Value (ATV): Tracks the average dollar amount spent per transaction, driven by cross-selling and upselling premium items.
- Sales per Employee / Hour: Evaluates individual and team staff productivity in generating revenue.
- Sell-Through Rate: Monitors how quickly specific fashion lines or sizes sell out, informing stock replenishment needs.
- Inventory Accuracy & Shrinkage Rate: Tracks discrepancies between physical stock and system records, aiming to keep shrinkage minimal.
- Visual & Operational Compliance Score: Measures adherence to head-office planograms, cleanliness, and task completion audits
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Education: Minimum SPM level , though a diploma in business administration, retail management, or a related field is often preferred. Relevant certifications in retail operations can also be an advantage.
- Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience working in a premium retail environment, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
