Private Advertiser seeks a hands-on store leader in luxury retail. You will coach the team on the shop floor, engage clients, and drive on-ground execution to meet sales targets and brand standards.
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in premium retail, strong client-relations skills, and a track record of exceeding sales goals. You will manage stock, SOPs and CRM systems while maintaining impeccable brand representation.
This is a highly hands-on leadership role that goes beyond schedules, reports, inventory and administration. You will spend significant time on the shop floor, coaching your team, engaging clients, and driving execution on the ground.
We are looking for someone who takes initiative, solves problems proactively, and leads from the front. You should see your store as a business under your stewardship, working closely with mall partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities and support growth. Every client interaction, product presentation, team behaviour, and commercial outcome reflects the standards you set.
Owns the store's sales targets and KPIs. Reads sales data, adjusts plans and takes cost-control action to keep the business on track.
Maintains strong control over stock, cash, SOPs, visual merchandising, grooming, reporting and compliance. Details matter.
Takes personal ownership of the client experience. Builds long-term relationships with VIP and high-potential clients, handles complaints with care, and ensures every interaction reflects the brand.
Represents the brand with confidence, polish and professionalism with clients, team and stakeholders.
Handles issues calmly and practically. Does not elevate unnecessarily but knows when to involve the right stakeholders.
Takes responsibility for outcomes, whether good or bad. Follows through on commitments and does not deflect blame.
Communicates clearly, confidently and professionally with clients, team, management and external stakeholders.
This is not a desk-bound or remote retail management role. It requires a visible, hands-on leader who is present on the shop floor, close to the team and clients, and actively involved in driving store performance.
Minimum 5 years in luxury retail management, premium retail, or a high-touch client service/hospitality environment (experience in perfume, cosmetics or consumer electronics does not count toward this).
Proven experience managing a team of 5 or more direct reports.
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a luxury retail environment.
Strong understanding of luxury client experience, brand positioning, selling ceremony, CRM and service recovery.
Comfortable being present on the shop floor, leading by example, and developing a high-performing team.
Excellent communication, influencing and people leadership skills.
Genuine interest in luxury retail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with retail management systems (SAP, Salesforce, etc).
