RETAIL OPERATIONS & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

About the Opportunity

Are you interested in retail management, business development and building systems that help a business grow?

Best Bundle Sdn Bhd is looking for an ambitious, organised and motivated individual to join our management team. We operate a growing retail business specialising in quality pre-loved and branded clothing, with multiple retail outlets, different pricing categories and expanding online sales opportunities.

This position combines retail operations, business development, stock management, system improvements and the opportunity to work directly with the CEO. You will help run the business while developing the systems, procedures and processes needed to support its future growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Retail Operations & Management

• Assist in overseeing daily operations across Best Bundle retail outlets.
• Work with store supervisors and staff to maintain efficient operations, customer service and presentation.
• Monitor sales, staff productivity and adherence to company standards.
• Identify operational issues and recommend practical improvements.
• Support staff scheduling, training and performance management.

2. Business Development & Growth

• Work directly with the CEO on business improvements and growth projects.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve productivity and expand the business.
• Assist with new retail concepts, promotions and sales channels, including online and social media.
• Analyse store performance and recommend improvements to profitability.
• Take ownership of assigned development projects from planning to implementation.

3. Retail Systems & Process Development

• Help design, document and implement retail management procedures.
• Improve stock control, inventory reporting, product transfers and replenishment processes.
• Develop consistent sales, stock and performance reporting across locations.
• Identify opportunities for digital tools, automation and AI to improve operations.
• Train and support teams to consistently follow improved procedures.

4. Stock Management & Inventory Control

• Monitor stock holdings across stores and storage locations.
• Assist with stock replenishment and purchasing requirements.
• Analyse fast-moving, slow-moving and underperforming products.
• Coordinate with warehouse, production and retail teams.
• Improve stock record accuracy and reduce stock losses and unnecessary holdings.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly retail sales reports.
• Compare performance across stores, product groups and price points.
• Analyse sales quantities, stock movements and inventory requirements.
• Build useful spreadsheets, management reports and dashboards.
• Present findings, recommendations and project progress to the CEO.

6. Digital Technology, AI & Business Improvement

• Help introduce AI and digital systems into retail operations.
• Use Excel, Google Sheets and other tools to streamline analysis and reporting.
• Explore AI applications for forecasting, inventory and administrative efficiency.
• Connect retail and online sales teams through better information sharing.
• Collaborate with supervisors, stock controllers, warehouse staff and management.
• Train colleagues on improved systems and procedures.
• Encourage accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Follow through on projects to ensure changes are implemented successfully.

As Best Bundle grows and you demonstrate initiative, sound judgement and management ability, this position may lead to greater responsibility and progression into roles such as Retail Operations Manager, Business Development Manager or Retail General Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in retail operations, supervision or business administration.

• Confidence working with numbers, spreadsheets and performance reports.
• Competence in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, with willingness to learn AI tools.
• Clear communication, teamwork, initiative and leadership potential.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and follow projects through to completion.
• Experience in stock control, POS systems, retail reporting or multi-store operations is an advantage.
