Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail / gift / lifestyle / customised products.
• Experience in store management or team leadership is an advantage.
• Familiar with POS systems, inventory management, and basic reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth business performance.

Retail Operations and Business Development Manager

• Oversee the daily operations of the store to ensure smooth and efficient business performance.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, and manpower planning.
• Ensure visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and product displays meet Themez's brand standards.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming shopping environment.

2. Sales & Business Development

• Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Actively identify and develop new sales opportunities, including walk-in customers, corporate clients, schools, organizations, and event planners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to increase repeat purchases and customer loyalty.
• Promote Themez's products and customized gift solutions to potential clients.
• Develop sales strategies, promotions, and campaigns to drive revenue growth.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare action plans to improve results.

3. Customer Relationship Management

• Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure a memorable shopping experience.
• Handle customer enquiries, quotations, complaints, and after-sales service professionally.
• Collect customer feedback and recommend improvements to products and services.

4. Inventory & Merchandising

• Manage inventory levels, stock replenishment, and stock accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding product availability and new product launches.
• Ensure inventory turnover is healthy and minimize stock losses.
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate the retail team.
• Set individual sales targets and monitor team performance.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide continuous coaching.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-focused team culture.

6. Marketing & Brand Promotion

• Work closely with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns and seasonal events.
• Generate creative ideas to increase store traffic and customer engagement.
• Support social media content creation by identifying trending products, customer stories, and promotional opportunities.
• Represent Themez professionally and ensure brand consistency across all customer touchpoints.

7. Reporting & Performance Analysis

• Analyze sales reports, customer trends, and business performance.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational and sales reports.
• Recommend improvements to increase profitability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

II. Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in retail / gift / lifestyle / customised products industry
• Experience in store management or team leadership is an advantage
• Familiar with POS systems, inventory management, and basic reporting
