Job summary

The Technology Executive at Berjaya Starbucks Coffee Company Sdn Bhd will manage IT infrastructure across retail outlets and HQ, focusing on secure POS, apps, and network systems. You’ll monitor threats, respond to incidents, and coordinate with vendors for smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in IT with exposure to retail security, PCI DSS, and networking. Travel to outlets may be required; diploma/degree in CS preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferably a Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 1-2 years IT experience, retail or F&B focus on network/security; fresh grads welcome.
• Understanding of POS workflows and PCI DSS security standards.
• Proficient in networking, VPNs, and endpoint protection.
• Certs such as CompTIA Security+ or CEH are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain POS menus, discounts, and promotions with secure configuration standards.
• Monitor security alerts and logs to identify threats or anomalies.
• Coordinate with vendors for timely resolution of store issues (POS, network, security).
• Manage security patches and incident response to minimize downtime.
• Liaise with developers for bug fixes and security updates.
