Job summary

Anaika Collections Sdn Bhd, a Valiram Group subsidiary, is expanding and seeks an Inventory Associate to ensure stock accuracy and support store operations across its Malaysia network.

You will replenish stock, perform counts, and assist in stock movement while maintaining a clean, safe store environment in a fast-paced setting. Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable with retail hours, including shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Moderate physical activity is required.
• Requires handling of up to 20 kg and standing/walking for long periods.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is necessary.
• Any field degree/diploma is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Regularly replenish merchandise displays.
• Ensure delivered merchandise is in good condition and matches delivery notes.
• Assist in monitoring stock movement with seniors and managers.
• Carry out stock counts weekly, monthly, and quarterly as assigned.
• Keep the store neat, tidy, and safe at all times.

Responsibilities

Operations

Ensure merchandise display is regularly replenished.

To ensure all the merchandise received are in good condition, exact quantity as well as other specific details as per delivery notes received.

To assist Senior Storekeeper / Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager in monitoring the stock movement and performance as and when required.

To carry out & special task/ ad hoc matters pertaining store/brand operations when required whether it be in special circumstances or not.

Ensure the store is always kept neat and tidy.

Inventory Integrity

Responsible for the daily, (if necessary) weekly and monthly stock count assigned by the Senior Storekeeper / Store PIC / Assistant Store Manager / Store Manager

Ensure stock count corresponds to computerized records by conducting stock count for weekly opening, monthly and quarterly stock take

Responsible to ensure safe working environment to prevent damage on the merchandises

Requirements

Must be comfortable to retail hours (shift work, weekends, and Public Holidays)

Moderate physical activity

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 20 kg or standing and/ or walking for more than eight (8) hours per day

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Candidate must possess at least SPM, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.

Be able to converse and understand English & Bahasa Malaysia
