Job summary

Club 21 is seeking a proactive Project Executive (Facilities Management) to independently manage facilities operations across our retail stores in Kuala Lumpur, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost control. The role covers maintenance oversight, vendor coordination, and major project management for openings, renovations, and closures.

Qualifications

• Diploma and/or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Interior Design, Retail Management, or a similar field.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in warehouse/business office/real estate environments with construction project management, space planning and facilities management experience.
• Hands‑on experience managing retail fit‑out and fitting projects with a track record of delivering results.
• Solid grasp of retail design, fit‑out processes, and fitting operations.
• Stellar organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
• Exposure to AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Ability to travel to project sites and flexibility in hours.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of day‑to‑day facilities operations across all retail stores.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee store openings, renovations, relocations, and closures with timely completion and standards.
• Manage maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance to keep stores safe and functional.
• Source, negotiate, and manage contractors and service providers within budget and timelines.
• Conduct regular site inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare and monitor monthly facilities reports, operating expenses, and project updates.
• Partner with Finance to manage facilities operating and capital budgets.
• Identify cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Build relationships with Retail Managers, mall management, landlords, and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate and respond to facilities emergencies, including after‑hours support.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, statutory, and landlord requirements for facilities.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
