Job summary

Uniqlo Malaysia, established in 2010 as a joint venture between Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. and Wing Tai Clothing Sdn Bhd, seeks a store associate for Petaling Jaya. You will prepare the store, greet customers, and act as product specialist to help shoppers choose items.

Follow training plans and self-learn on products, support colleagues, and maintain a respectful environment. Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor, good English, and shift flexibility including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree required.
• Good English communication (reading & writing).
• Flexible to work on shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the store for customers’ shopping experience.
• Check stock and replenish as needed; keep fixtures clean.
• Greet customers, offer baskets, and provide assistance with products.
• Be the store product specialist and advise on wearability and fit.
• Follow training plan and take initiative for self-learning on products and services.
• Ask supervisor when in doubt and take ownership of products under responsibility.
• Understand selling points and suggest ideas to improve customer buying experience.
• Maintain a respectful and collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the store for customers' shopping experience.
• You are expected to perform some simple cleaning at our merchandise fixtures, check stock and replenish necessarily.
• Greet customers with a smile and offer basket.
• Be of service by offering your assistance to product and advise to wear them.
• Be our product specialist.
• Follow company's training plan and take initiative for self-learning on our products and services.
• Check and ask superior when in doubt.
• Take ownership of products under your responsibility.
• Understand the items selling point, challenges and propose ideas to improve for customers' buying.
• Respect the working environment and your colleagues.
• Be polite, a team player and respect space of one another.
• No gossip and small talks that may hurt feelings of others.

Requirements:

• Required education: Diploma/ Bachelor Degree and above.
