Job summary

World Fashion (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver excellent customer service and support daily store operations to hit sales targets. The role involves assisting customers, maintaining store presentation, managing merchandise, cashiering, and supporting inventory control while ensuring a positive shopping experience.

You will contribute to achieving sales goals, participate in promotions, and maintain strong product knowledge across brands and items.

Responsibilities

• Achieve individual and store sales targets.

• Maintain strong product knowledge of brands, materials, and item history (especially for reuse / vintage items).
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
• Arrange product displays according to company guidelines.
• Replenish merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
• Assist with stock receiving and checking.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Support stock organization and storage management.
• Operate POS system and handle cash/card transactions.
• Follow company operational procedures and policies.
• Support store opening and closing duties.
• Work closely with team members to maintain smooth store operations.
• Participate in product training and operational training.
• Support other duties assigned by store management.

WHAT EQUIPS YOU FOR THE ROLE

Malaysian nationality

Minimum 1 year of working experience in retail fashion

Minimum SPM or Diploma in related fields

Knowledge of fashion and trends

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Willing to work on shifts, weekdays, weekends and Public Holidays
