Job summary

Pineapple Resources Berhad is seeking a Restaurant Operations Coordinator to support Klang Valley outlets. You will oversee daily restaurant activities, supervise staff, manage schedules, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with suppliers to optimise productivity and costs.

The role requires strong leadership, coordination, and Excel skills, with willingness to work shifts and weekends as needed. Based in Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas, on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Business Admin, Hospitality & Tourism or related field.
• Experience in restaurant or F&B operations is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Proactive, responsible and detail-oriented.
• Good computer skills, especially Excel and reporting.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day-to-day restaurant operations.
• Assist in supervising service crew and kitchen personnel.
• Monitor staff attendance, schedules and manpower.
• Ensure food quality, service and operational standards.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels and purchasing.
• Coordinate with suppliers on orders, deliveries and pricing.
• Monitor daily sales, cash handling and outlet reports.
• Maintain cleanliness, food hygiene and safety standards.
• Handle customer feedback and operational issues.
• Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
• Assist management with policies and guidelines.
• Prepare regular operational reports for management review.
