Ayam Goreng PokYa in Malaysia is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead the team, ensure food quality and safety, and maintain high service standards. You will drive outlet sales, control costs, prepare staff schedules, and collaborate with kitchen and service teams to deliver an excellent customer experience, while building a disciplined, high-performance team.

This role requires 2–3 years in F&B operations, strong leadership, Bahasa Melayu and English

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in restaurant, F&B or hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient and consistent execution.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to achieve standards.
• Prepare staff schedules and allocate duties to meet business needs.
• Monitor staff attendance, discipline, performance and productivity.
• Ensure SOPs, food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards are followed.
• Drive outlet sales performance and achieve sales targets and KPIs.
• Monitor costs: food, labour, inventory and waste for cost control.
• Maintain food quality, portion control, and speed of service.
• Manage customer feedback and resolve complaints professionally.
• Ensure the restaurant is clean, organized and standards are met.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams for timely orders.
• Manage daily cash handling and sales reconciliation.
