Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Desaru Coast is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the hotel’s restaurant operations within the Food & Beverage Department. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining high service standards, and driving financial performance.

You will supervise the restaurant team, ensure hygiene and quality controls, train colleagues, and collaborate with Kitchen and other departments to elevate the guest journey.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in a related field and at least 2 years’ experience in F&B.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and guest expectations.
• Proficient in English; computer literacy and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall restaurant operations to ensure guest satisfaction and service excellence.
• Maintains high quality and hygiene standards in line with brand requirements.
• Manages financial performance, cost controls and revenue generation for the restaurant.
• Leads, coaches and motivates the restaurant team to deliver consistent results.
• Ensures compliance with Mandarin Oriental brand standards and hotel policies.
