Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Desaru Coast is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead the hotel’s restaurant operations within the Food & Beverage department. The role requires maintaining luxury service, high standards, and strong team leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will oversee staff, ensure hygiene, optimize service quality, and collaborate with other departments to drive guest satisfaction and revenue in a premium resort setting.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Food & Beverage products and high-end service levels.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Computer literacy with standard hotel software familiarity.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the hotel restaurant to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Maintain high service standards, quality, and hygiene; manage financial performance.
• Directly lead the restaurant team and coordinate with kitchen and other departments.
• Train staff, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards and Forbes/LQA requirements.
• Drive revenue through upselling, menu planning, and guest engagement.
