The position requires experience in clerical accounting, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. English and Bahasa Malaysia communications are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Admin Clerk, Accounts Clerk, or similar clerical role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software packages.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to accurately process and record financial data.
• Sound understanding of accounting principles and practices relevant to accounts officers and clerks.
• Well-organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
• Maintaining and updating accounting records and filing systems in an organised manner.
• Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Preparing and compiling financial documentation and reports.
• Data entry and maintaining accurate records in accounting software and spreadsheets.
• Responding to administrative enquiries and providing support to team members.
• Performing general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and document organisation.
• Assisting with reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
• Managing and prioritising administrative tasks to meet deadlines.
• Supporting the restaurant operations with administrative coordination as required.
