Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Property Consultants Pte Ltd in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to join a dynamic team responsible for site facilities operations and achieving KPIs outlined in the management contract.

You will drive service delivery under SLA, oversee budgeting, liaise with in-house and contract vendors, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in facilities, property management, hospitality or related field.
• Experience working in building management.
• Excellent management and organizational skills.
• Good at meeting deadlines.
• 24/7 emergency call support and site attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Establish Building Employment services Operational procedures and roll out for site staff.
• Responsible for delivery of services in accordance with Client Management SLA.
• Ensure compliance with all governmental regulations.
• Provide comprehensive process management with focus on continuous improvement and CPI/KPI deliverables using Best Practices and drive standardization across functions.
• Develop and deliver CCR and DPOR lists as per agreed datelines.
• Initiate strategies to reduce building operation repair costs and improvement plans for further cost reduction.
• Manage and run the operation within the allocated budget.
• Manage all in house/contract vendors to carry out the job as per SLA.
• Initiate and maintain Preventive Management Program.
• Follow up BAC/AR closure as per SLA Operation improvement and manage day to day operation and issues.
