Job summary

QARIDH GROUP SDN BHD in Senawang, Negeri Sembilan is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to support office facilities and project sites. The role involves renovation work, equipment installation, wiring, plumbing, carpentry, and general site operations.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or certificate in building maintenance or related fields, with hands-on renovation or construction experience and a willingness to perform physical site work.

Qualifications

• Diploma, SKM or Certificate in Building Maintenance, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentry or related technical field.
• Hands-on renovation, maintenance or construction experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general repair works is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general office maintenance and minor repair works.
• Attend to basic defects involving doors, furniture, fittings, lighting, plumbing and other office facilities.
• Assist in keeping the office and working areas safe, clean and properly maintained.
• Support renovation and project works including mechanical works, equipment installation, wiring, electrical fittings, plumbing, sanitary fittings, carpentry, cabinet adjustment and general woodworking.
• Assist the project team and subcontractors during site works where required.
• Carry out site and office housekeeping before, during and after work.
• Assist with general construction activities including moving and arranging construction materials, concrete mixing, brick laying, skim coating and basic surface preparation.
• Maintain, inspect and organise company tools and equipment.
• Assist in the upkeep of company vehicles and arrange servicing, inspection and repair when required.
• Assist other departments with technical or physical work and carry out deliveries, collections and material preparation

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma, SKM or Certificate in Building Maintenance, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical, Carpentry or related technical field
• Hands-on renovation, maintenance or construction experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and general repair works is an advantage
• Comfortable performing both technical work and physical site work
• Able to use common hand tools and power tools
• Willing to work at project sites when required
• Possess a valid driving license
• Responsible, practical, willing to learn and able to work independently or as part of a team
