This remote role is based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, offering opportunities to work with a distributed development team, implement secure data management practices, and drive performance improvements across digital products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Backend Engineering or Software Development.
• Proficiency in Python, Node.js, Go, or Java with modern web frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for remote teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement core server-side logic from product requirements.
• Monitor and optimize performance and scalability.
