Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of professional experience in backend development or software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java, Python, Node.js, PHP, C# or Go.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and web services architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend, product managers and stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Debug and resolve issues; optimise database queries and performance.
• Implement security best practices and document architecture.
• Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging technologies.
