Job summary

Ascentia Ace Sdn Bhd seeks a dedicated accounting professional to support a diverse portfolio of Singapore SME clients from Malaysia. You will help prepare full sets of accounts, monthly closures, GST returns, payroll, and XBRL with remote collaboration.

Fresh graduates or seasoned professionals are invited. The role emphasizes accuracy, timely delivery, and proactive communication in a fully remote setting with mentorship from the Principal Consultant in the Singapore office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA or diploma aimed at professional growth.
• Some accounting experience is advantageous.
• Experience with Xero accounting software is highly regarded.
• Good command of spoken and written English for remote communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain full sets of accounts for Singapore SME clients.
• Prepare month-end schedules and execute adjusting entries.
• Review GST returns and ensure compliance while minimizing risk.
• Deliver monthly reporting packages tailored to clients’ needs.
• Perform tax computations to optimize clients’ tax positions.
• Manage monthly payroll processing remotely and accurately.
• Draft unaudited financial statements and prepare XBRL reports.
• Utilize cloud-based software (Xero, Talenox, Bukku, MS Teams) to enable efficient workflows.
• Perform ad hoc duties and support the team; mentor via remote channels.
