Job summary

Agilience Consulting Pte Ltd in Melaka is seeking an Accounts Associate to support Singapore-based clients, handle full sets of accounts (including consolidation), prepare financial statements, and manage month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes with accurate bank reconciliations.

You will assist with accounting and payroll administration, tax and audit support for a portfolio of clients, ensure timely preparation of accounts and reports, and communicate with clients to manage expectations;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Fresh graduates welcome; 1 year experience preferred, training provided.
• 4+ years accounting/outsourcing experience for senior roles.
• Big 4 audit experience welcomed.
• Good command of English and communication skills.
• Meticulous, organized, proactive and able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts including consolidation for clients.
• Prepare financial statements and manage month-, quarter-, and year-end closes.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure data accuracy.
• Assist with accounting, payroll, tax and audit support for clients.
• Ensure timely financial reporting in line with client policies and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with clients and manage their expectations.
• Perform ad hoc duties as required.
