NLA DFK ASSURANCE PAC is seeking an accounting professional in Penang, Malaysia, with emphasis on maintaining records, payroll, and month-end closures. This remote-friendly role involves virtual client meetings and applying new accounting policies while ensuring compliance.

Experience in accounting, IFRS/MFRS knowledge, and familiarity with Xero/MYOB/SQL/QuickBooks are preferred. Diploma or degree in accounting is required.

Qualificações

• Similar experience as an Accountant/ Senior Account Executive or relevant role in accounting
• Familiar with MFRS or IFRS is a must
• Knowledge of Xero, MYOB, SQL, QuickBooks is a plus
• Diploma/Degree in Accounting

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Meet with clients virtually to discuss confidential accounting issues
• Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g. by assets, liabilities and expenses)
• Review financial statement prepared by client/junior
• Prepare payroll for client
• Conduct month-end and year-end closures
• Prepare documents for audits
• Advise clients on financial issues via email or phone
• Apply new accounting policies and ensure compliance with rules and regulations
• Willing and prepared to work from home fully
• Preparation of consolidation account
