Job summary

Lunch Actually is seeking a meticulous Accountant based in Malaysia to manage full-set accounting across Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong using Xero. You will handle monthly closings, payroll, and regional tax filings with a strong focus on accuracy and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience, familiarity with multi-entity structures, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setup with occasional office visits in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Experience managing multi-entity accounts or regional payroll preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of Xero and tax filings across regions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full sets of accounts for Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong within Xero.
• Perform monthly closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Manage regional payroll processing for SG, MY, HK.
• Prepare annual employee tax forms (IR8A, Form E/EA, BIR56A).
• Prepare quarterly Singapore GST returns; handle SST and Profits Tax filings.
