Job summary

Lunch Actually Group is seeking an Accountant in Malaysia to manage full-set accounting for Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong within Xero. You will handle monthly closings, cash flow, payroll, and tax compliance across three markets with Singapore GST, Malaysia SST, and HK Profits Tax considerations.

You will collaborate closely with the Senior Accountant, ensuring timely statutory filings and audits while maintaining accuracy across multi-currency operations and intercompany processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years hands-on accounting experience and multi-entity exposure preferred.
• Experience with regional payroll and tax compliance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage full sets of accounts for Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong entities entirely within Xero.
• Lead monthly closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis across three entities.
• Oversee multi-currency tracking and intercompany transactions, with regular reconciliations.
