Job summary

Private Advertiser offers a fully remote accounting role based in Malaysia, handling AP, AR, GL, and month-end/year-end closing. You will prepare schedules for prepayments, accruals, and fixed assets, and generate basic financial reports with organized documentation.

The position requires 2+ years of accounting firm experience, Diploma/Degree in Accounting, and proficiency in Excel and Word. Experience with Xero/MYOB is a plus, and strong attention to deadlines is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant accounting firm experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or relevant qualifications.
• Prior exposure to Xero and MYOB is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts: AP, AR, GL, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare accounting schedules: prepayments, accruals, fixed assets.
• Prepare basic financial reports and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in ad-hoc reporting as required.
