Job summary

Stellantis Malaysia is seeking a proactive Preventive Maintenance Engineer to develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs that maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime in a high‑volume automotive manufacturing environment.

You will plan schedules, monitor asset performance, perform RCA, manage CMMS/SAP PM data, coordinate shutdowns, and drive Lean Maintenance and Kaizen initiatives while ensuring statutory safety and collaboration with purchasing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or related field.
3–7 years in preventive maintenance, maintenance planning, reliability engineering, or manufacturing maintenance.
Experience in automotive/manufacturing preferred.
Hands-on CMMS or SAP PM experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Plan and manage annual, monthly, and weekly maintenance schedules.
Monitor equipment reliability and asset performance.
Conduct RCA and implement preventive actions.
Maintain maintenance records and CMMS/SAP PM data.
Coordinate maintenance shutdowns to minimize production disruption.
Manage spare parts requirements and coordinate with Purchasing.
Oversee contractors to ensure safe maintenance execution.
Track maintenance KPIs and suggest improvements.
Ensure compliance with DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, and safety requirements.
Support equipment upgrades, commissioning and facility improvement projects.
Drive Lean Maintenance, Kaizen and continuous improvement.
