Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a Senior Reliability Engineer to lead a critical turnaround, owning the asset lifecycle and driving plant uptime through a robust reliability program. You will manage CMMS, develop PM programs from scratch, perform RCAs on equipment failures, supervise maintenance technicians, and ensure strict compliance with DOSH and food safety standards.

Qualifications

3–5 years in maintenance or reliability engineering, with 1–2 years in supervision.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems; hands-on RCA, FMEA, TPM, and CMMS.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
Ability to work with Production, QA, and Engineering teams to drive improvements.
Solid understanding of industrial safety practices and compliance.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain a plant-wide reliability program to improve uptime and address high-risk systems.
Own CMMS: visualize and create PM programs from scratch and track execution.
Lead preventive and predictive maintenance tasks using vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
Supervise maintenance team and provide hands-on training on reliability best practices.
Ensure compliance with DOSH and food safety/quality standards.
