Job summary

F&B Nutrition Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to develop strategies for equipment reliability and to lead RCA investigations in a dairy manufacturing setting.

You will oversee condition-based maintenance, PM optimization, and critical equipment management, with a focus on MTBF/MTTR, Weibull and lifecycle cost analyses. The role requires 5+ years in maintenance/reliability within manufacturing, a technical degree, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in maintenance, reliability or engineering in manufacturing.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory/lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical systems.
• Proficient in RCA, FMEA, RCM, condition monitoring, and MTBF/MTTR analysis.
• Certification related to RCM or maintenance reliability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement equipment reliability improvement strategies.
• Identify critical production equipment and plant utilities requiring enhanced reliability monitoring.
• Develop and coordinate a condition-based maintenance programme covering applicable equipment.
• Lead or facilitate RCA investigations.

• Challenge PM tasks that do not provide meaningful reliability benefits.

• Develop and maintain a list of critical equipment covering, where applicable

Reliability-Centred Maintenance (RCM)

• Support and/or lead RCM activities for critical assets

Are you the one?

Minimum Diploma or Degree holder in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance or equivalent technical qualifications.

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance, reliability or engineering within a manufacturing/process plant environment.

Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.

Strong working knowledge of in Mechanical such as Pumps.Motors, Gearboxes, Bearings, Compressors, Fans/blowers, Valves, Mechanical seals, Couplings, Conveyors, Rotating equipment.

Strong knowledge in RCA, FMEA, RCM, Condition monitoring, Predictive maintenance, Failure analysis, Weibull analysis, Pareto analysis, MTBF/MTTR analysis, Asset criticality analysis, Lifecycle cost analysis

Any certification related to RCM or Maintenance Reliablity will be added advantage.

Bhd. fully transformed itself in 2004 and is now one of the largest OEM manufacturer of sweetened creamer and evaporated creamer in Malaysia. We have seen tremendous growth in the demand for vegetable oil-based creamers, both locally and in the overseas market. In view of this, we are currently expanding our factory by having additional production lines which are able to manufacture all 4 can sizes – 170gram, 390gram, 505 gram and 1kg packaging simultaneously. Our expansion has also seen the introduction of our newly launched Evaporated Creamer line which is already operating at full capacity.
