Job summary

ALL GOOD FOOD MANUFACTURING SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Equipment Reliability Engineer to lead maintenance improvements across manufacturing and packaging operations in Malaysia.

The role focuses on reducing downtime, improving availability and production efficiency, and developing preventive and condition-based maintenance programs. You will analyse MTBF/MTTR, lead inspections, installations and commissioning, and work with vendors on technical solutions and CAPEX projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in equipment, maintenance or reliability engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with manufacturing, rotating and packaging equipment.
• Experience in food, nutritional powder, dairy, pharmaceutical, FMCG or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, motors, drives, bearings, seals, gearboxes, alignment and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with RCA, FMEA, preventive/predictive maintenance, MTBF and MTTR.
• Experience in vendor management, equipment installation and commissioning.
• Able to turn technical problems into practical and cost-effective solutions.
• Hands-on and comfortable spending significant time on the production floor.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is an advantage for communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Experience in liquid products manufacturing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.

8–15 years of relevant experience in equipment, maintenance or reliability engineering.

Experience in food, nutritional powder, dairy, pharmaceutical, FMCG or similar manufacturing environments is preferred.
