Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Malaysia seeks a Reliability Engineer attached to the Maintenance Team. You will optimize plant equipment, deploy preventive maintenance plans, and align PM strategy with plant needs to deliver reliable operations.

You will lead preventive maintenance execution, review spare parts, develop action plans for breakdowns, coordinate internal and external teams, and strive for safety, quality and cost targets.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Min 2 years in people leadership with focus on development of teams.
• Languages: Local fluent; English intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance plan & execution.
• Review & assure required spare parts & inventory levels.
• Develop action plans (mitigation, corrective & preventive) for breakdowns.
• Review PM plans to reflect real plant conditions.
• Define standards & procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance programs within internal & external teams.
• Control costs and drive efficiency.
• Support safety, health & environment requirements.
