Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Malaysia is seeking a Reliability Engineer to optimize plant equipment and implement dynamic preventive maintenance aligned with plant and CBM. You will lead PM execution, review spares, develop action plans, and ensure safety, quality, and cost targets while collaborating with internal and external teams.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3–5 years manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in people leadership; TPM/Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in FMCG, including engineering roles.
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership with focus on development of teams.
• Nice to have: change management, project management, budgeting knowledge, TPM/Lean/Six Sigma familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead Preventive Maintenance plan and execution.
• Review and assure spare parts & inventory levels.
• Develop action plans (mitigation, corrective & preventive) for breakdowns.
• Ensure dynamic PM plans suited to real plant conditions.
• Define standards and procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance programs with internal & external teams.
• Cost efficiency & control.
