Job summary

Air Products in Malaysia invites an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support North Malaysia operations. You will plan and schedule major maintenance, including turnarounds, to optimize resources and ensure safe, cost-effective execution.

Working with Senior Maintenance Engineer (North), you will drive predictive/preventive programs, review maintenance data, and uphold ISO standards while promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of industrial gas or chemical processing plants preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance planning, shutdowns/turnarounds, and reliability programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule major maintenance activities to optimize resources and stay within budget.
• Coordinate turnarounds, chair meetings, and prepare schedules and post-turnaround reports.
• Plan predictive/preventive maintenance and review program effectiveness using tools like FMEA/RCM.
• Support plant reliability improvement and close out action items.
• Ensure site preventive maintenance programs per SAP PM02 and safe task execution.
