Job summary

JDE Peet’s is seeking a Reliability Engineer in Malaysia to optimize plant equipment and deployment of dynamic Preventive Maintenance plans. You will lead PM execution, review spare parts, and coordinate maintenance with teams to ensure safety, quality and cost control.

You will drive maintenance excellence, mentor teams, and implement MOS rollouts while ensuring alignment with business needs and safety standards.

Qualifications

University Degree (Bachelor) in Engineering or related field.
Languages: Local - Fluent; English – Intermediate.
3–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (prefer FMCG) including Engineering roles.
Min of 2 years in a people leadership role with development focus.

Responsibilities

Lead Preventive Maintenance Plan & Execution.
Review & assure spare parts & inventory levels.
Develop action plans for breakdowns (mitigation, corrective, preventive).
Keep preventive maintenance dynamic and aligned with real plant conditions.
Define standards & procedures and coordinate maintenance with internal & external teams.
Drive cost efficiency and control.
Review safety, health and environment requirements and ensure compliance.
Lead safety, quality and manufacturing excellence within the maintenance/production team.
