Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Assistant Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Malaysia. You will perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal performance, and work with engineering/production teams to support upgrades and efficiency.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 2–5 years' maintenance experience, and strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering fields.
• 2-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, reading technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues that may arise during production.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
• Work closely with the engineering and production teams to support operational efficiency and equipment upgrades.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining records of maintenance work and provide reports as needed.
