Job summary

WatchGuard Technologies seeks a Sales Engineer to drive technical sales in Southeast Asia, specifically Malaysia and Indonesia, engaging end users and supporting indirect channels such as VARs, resellers and distributors. You will serve as a liaison on sales-related service and support issues and help evangelize WatchGuard solutions.

Qualifications

• Must be based in Southeast Asia (Malaysia/Indonesia) with ability to travel regionally.
• Develop and expand technical relationships with key distributors, resellers and MSSP partners in the territory.
• Drive revenue growth through reseller partners to end customers by providing pre-sales technical support and training.
• Assist field sales with technical pre-sales activities and post-sales escalation support.
• Increase reseller, partner and end-user adoption of WatchGuard products through tradeshows and training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inter-departmental technical resources to close opportunities.
• Escalate and resolve partner and customer issues as appropriate.
• Assist evaluation customers with setup and configuration of WatchGuard network security, endpoint security and cloud security solutions.
• Identify and report on competitive trends and provide feedback to Product Management.
• Create technical content to present to end users and partners.
