Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Sales Executive/Sales Engineer for the Component Division. Based in Penang, you will meet sales targets and support the Country Manager in achieving company objectives by promoting and selling products to existing and new customers with regional travel as required.

You will focus on growth through design-in activities, identify new opportunities, follow up on inquiries and quotations, and source complementary products to broaden the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in related products.
• Willing to travel regionally when assigned.
• Good business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent and able to work under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales targets set by the Company and assist Country Manager to achieve Company’s objectives.
• Promote and sell the Company’s products to existing and new customers.
• Travel to Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia or other territories as assigned.
• Identify, develop and explore new business opportunities with customers for growth.
• Follow up on sales enquiries and quotations submitted.
• Aggressively push existing and new products, with focus on design-in activities.
• Source for new products to complement the company’s existing range.
