Job summary

PERSOL Malaysia in Penang is seeking a Sales Executive/Sales Engineer for the Component Division. Based in Penang, you will meet sales targets and support the Country Manager in achieving company objectives by promoting and selling products to existing and new customers with regional travel as required.

You will focus on growth through design-in activities, identify new opportunities, follow up on inquiries and quotations, and source complementary products to broaden the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Electronic or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years’ sales experience in related products.
• Willing to travel regionally when assigned.
• Good business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Independent and able to work under minimum supervision.

Continuously identifying, develop and explore new business opportunities with all customers to achieve continuous growth.

Follow up closely on sales enquiries and quotation submitted.

Aggressively push existing and new products. Focus on design-in activities.

Continuously source for new products to complement company’s existing range of products.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess minimum 2 years’ and above sales experience in related products.
