Job summary

KK Malaysia is seeking an experienced Retail District Manager to lead multiple stores across the Klang Valley. You will be accountable for store performance, team development, and operational excellence to drive business growth.

In this role you will guide store leaders on sales targets, monitor regional performance, manage costs, and uphold our brand standards. Strong data skills, people management, and fluency in English and Malay are essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above with 5+ years in fast retail.
• English and local language proficiency; Mandarin is a plus.
• Experience in hypermarket or regional store management.
• Ability to coordinate internal/external resources and standardize store management.
• Strong data sensitivity with budgeting, summarizing, and regional planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive daily sales targets and achieve monthly sales goals for the region.
• Monitor regional sales data and guide store management to meet targets.
• Supervise store management teams and plan KPI improvements.
• Participate in hiring of key management roles.
• Monitor gross profit, costs, and losses.
• Set sales targets and development goals for stores and staff.
• Enforce company standards and make decisions on standard issues.
• Reduce costs through personnel and expense controls; manage regional expenses.
• Enhance safety awareness and ensure compliance with safety regs.
• Lead internal teams to deliver excellent customer experience and brand loyalty.
