Job summary

Bluebell Group in Malaysia is seeking a Procurement Executive to oversee procurement across markets, coordinate with local and regional teams, and manage supplier relationships. You will obtain quotations, monitor stock, process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery while upholding quality and regulatory standards.

Strong communication, negotiation, and Excel skills are essential, with 2–4 years in procurement or related fields. Travel readiness is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain.
  • Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, price negotiation and purchase order processing.
  • Good analytical and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee procurement activities for products, ingredients, packaging materials and other business requirements across assigned markets.
  • Obtain and compare quotations and prepare recommendations for review and approval.
  • Maintain updated supplier, product and pricing information.
  • Lead monthly demand planning in coordination with local teams across assigned markets.
  • Assist in monitoring stock requirements and highlight potential supply shortages to the relevant teams.
  • Process purchase orders and coordinate orders with suppliers based on approved requirements.
  • Monitor order status, lead times and delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
  • Follow up with suppliers on outstanding orders, delayed deliveries, shortages or discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with Logistics, Warehouse, Finance and Operations teams to ensure smooth procurement and delivery processes.
  • Maintain good working relationships with existing suppliers and respond to day-to-day procurement enquiries.
  • Follow up with suppliers on product quality, pricing, delivery and other issues.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying alternative suppliers when required.
  • Support supplier onboarding and ensure required supplier documents are properly maintained.

Job description

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure procurement activities follow company policies, approval procedures and required documentation.

Maintain proper records of quotations, purchase orders, invoices, contracts and other procurement documents.

Assist with audit requests and provide procurement-related documentation when required.

Ensure products and suppliers meet applicable quality, food safety and regulatory requirements.

Regional Coordination

Coordinate procurement requirements with regional and local teams across different markets.

Assist in consolidating procurement requirements and identifying opportunities for regional purchasing.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain.

Experience in supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, price negotiation and purchase order processing.

Good analytical and numerical skills, with strong attention to detail.

Good communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.

Well-organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently.

Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken.

Willing to travel when required.

Experience in F&B, retail or FMCG procurement is an advantage.
